    Good morning in Mickey World! Will be doing the AK safari as early as possible on Oct. 1 - wondering when the Lion King show is on - can't wait to have my grandson see it! I've been getting so many good tips from this panel - check it out twice a day!

    Oh how I wish I were actually in Mickey's World right now ... I'm instead settling for dreaming about Walt Disney World from my desk here in Canada!

    You've got a great plan in place from the sounds of it! Visiting Kilimanjaro Safaris first thing in the morning is an excellent idea. The animals are always up and active during that earlier time of day!

    Although the precise schedule for Festival of the Lion King is not yet posted for October 1st, we can use last year's shows that week as an excellent 'guideline.' According to last year's Time Guide for the first week of October, Monday shows ran at 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm, and 5:30pm.

    While we can't depend on these being the identical times you'll see upon arrival, it's fairly likely that the start and end times of the day, and frequency of shows, will be quite similar!

    Upon arrival at the park, be sure to pick up a Times Guide slip where you find Park Maps.
    Another GREAT show I'd highly recommend for your grandson is the Flights of Wonder show. My kids have thoroughly enjoyed that one in the past.
