Good morning, our Keys to The Kingdom Tour starts at 8:30. We’re requested to arrive early. Since MK opens at 8:30 is there an earlier entrance option?

    Hi John!

I'm so excited to hear that you are going to enjoy Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort! This tour is the perfect way to learn insider info about Magic Kingdom and some of Walt's thought processes behind the magic. Plus, you'll get a peek at the “Utilidor” tunnels that are an integral part of how Cast Members make the magic for Guests at Magic Kingdom!

Since you will need to check in for your tour 15 minutes before the start time, you will need to enter the theme park before its official opening. You will find that there is a specific entrance for Guests with early breakfast reservations and tour reservations who need to enter the theme park prior to the park's opening time. This entrance is generally marked with a special sign and has a Cast Member checking your reservation to allow the appropriate Guests entry. I recommend that you plan to arrive at the entry to Magic Kingdom 30-45 minutes prior to the start time of your tour so you can enter the theme park and head to Town Square Theater in time for your tour without feeling rushed.

John, it looks like your trip is just around the corner, so I hope you're following the Disney Parks Blog. It's the best place to get info about new and returning experiences you can enjoy during your vacation. Also, feel free to come back to see us if you have additional questions as your trip gets closer! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
