    Good morning. What happens to a bounce back reservation if the person booking it is not able to go due to medical issue? Others on reservation are still planning to go.

    Hello to my fellow Pennsylvania resident! I’m glad you came to planDisney, Linda! There is nothing quite as awesome as finding a “bounce back” offer waiting in your email or your Walt Disney World Resort room! While I’m sorry to hear that a medical issue will result in a change to your reservation, I am glad that some members of your travel party will still be able to enjoy some time together at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    My first inclination would be to go onto your My Disney Experience account and modify your reservation to reflect who will and won’t be attending the planned vacation. As long as the Guest who booked the “bounce back” is still the name of the Guest holding the reservation with a credit card in their name, then I would think everything would be fine. However, if the name of the Guest holding the reservation needs to change, or the credit card holder needs to change, then there could be an issue.

    Linda, I don’t want your vacation to have any unexpected hiccups, so in this particular case, I am going to recommend that you call the Disney Resorts Team at 407-934-7639 to explain the specifics of exactly how your “bounce back” reservation needs to change. A helpful and friendly Cast Member will be able to guide you through the process of modifying your “bounce back” reservation.
