Good morning! My family and I will be visiting Disneyland 10/8-10/10. We currently have Paint the Night dining reservations but Paint the night does not show up on the event schedule. Will the parade still be happening or should I change the reservations?

Greetings, Donica, and welcome to planDisney! Paint the Night is one of my favorite nighttime parades – imagine more than one million LED lights, dazzling floats, Disney friends, and a catchy tune that will leave you singing, "When can we do this again?"

The Plaza Inn Dining Package is a great addition to a Disneyland visit. You'll enjoy a delicious meal at Plaza Inn, while also getting a voucher for reserved viewing of the Paint the Night parade. I took a peek at the entertainment schedule the week of October 8, 2025, and noticed two showings listed for Paint the Night each night. It could have been that the schedule just wasn't updated when you checked, but, as of now, it looks like you are good to go!

After you watch Paint the Night, make sure to catch Halloween Screams – I suggest watching it on Friday since there will be fireworks in addition to projections. Fantasmic! is also scheduled for Friday, and you can catch the second showing after the fireworks. It will be a night filled with entertainment!

And because it's Halloween Time, make sure to catch Haunted Mansion Holiday, try some spookily tasty treats, and check out festive merchandise!

If you're looking for another fun dining experience, check out Storytellers Cafe, which has themed breakfast, brunch, and dinner available for the season. Character Dining is such a unique experience – nothing beats the smiles on my kids' faces when they see their favorite Disney pals approach. Plus, who doesn't love a good, all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet?

Donica, I hope you have a fantastic visit to the Disneyland Resort next month. If you think of any other questions between now and then, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!

    Wishing you magic,
