Good morning! My family and I are arriving WDW November 27th. I am planning an evening with my 2 granddaughters, age 9 and 10 years. Their mom and her significant other are having a date night, so I would like to do something special with them. Any ideas?

Hello Holly, and thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with such a fun question for us to help you with today!

Soon your whole family will be singing, "Heigh-ho, heigh-ho! It's off to Disney we go!" as the 27th November 2021, it just around the river bend in only a few days time.  And of course, I can just imagine how ridiculously excited you all must be feeling about now!

As a proud grandma to two darling little granddaughters myself, your sweet question simply jumped right out at me to answer!  I think it's absolutely wonderful that you and your precious little Princesses will get to spend some quality time together as their mom, and her significant other enjoy their very own Disney date night.

My best suggestion would be to visit Disney Springs where Mouseketeers both young and young at heart can discover a whole plethora of pixie-dusted ways in which they can be both entertained and enchanted.

How about dining in the wild at the Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs Marketplace, or perhaps at Blaze Fast-Fire'd Pizza where diners can select their very own pizza toppings.  Don't want a full meal?  No problem, simply go out for dessert at some of the many delicious locations at Disney Springs such as the Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop

After enjoying your food, I would suggest picking up maps for the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll which are freely available from select Disney Springs stores, and dining locations.  It's also possible to view and download the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll Map from home too!

The Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is similar to a traditional scavenger hunt, and once the stroll sticker collection is completed on the map, participants can visit a redemption location to collect a special prize!

Another suggestion would be to treat your granddaughters to an unforgettable evening at the all-new, recently debuted Drawn to Life, Presented by Cirque du Soleil & Disney.  Tickets for this incredible acrobatic live show can be purchased ahead of arrival from the Cirque du Soleil website, or direct from the box office at Disney Springs.

There are so many different zip-a-dee-doo-dah entertainment offerings at Disney Springs that I feel sure that you'll discover something for all 3 of you to enjoy together.

All that now remains is for me to wish your whole family a truly EARidescent upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort, where you'll make magical memories that are sure to last an entire lifetime.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
