Hi James,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another great question!
I’ve been slowly incorporating more and more of a plant-based diet into my life, and I was thrilled to see that
Plant-Based Dining is actually a major new culinary trend at Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, the menus at most table-service and quick-service Disney dining locations now have at least one (if not more!)
plant-based options among your appetizer, entree and even dessert choices! So every Disney Dining location will have at least one option that suits your dietary needs during your visit this April - just look for the green leaf beside a menu item.
Because so many of these options are new, I haven’t had the chance to try them all yet. My favourite restaurants for a plant-based diet are definitely
Satu’li Canteen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park,
Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom Park. Honourable mention to the new plant-based slaw dog at Casey’s Corner - it really was a fun and delicious option!
In addition, if you see anything on the menu that strikes your fancy but you’d like to remove an ingredient or two, please don’t hesitate to ask whether it can be prepared differently. It might be possible, especially if you’re dining at a table service location. You can also reach out to the
Special Dietary Requests team if you have any other questions.
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
