Good Morning, going to Disney for MVMCP Dec 20th and coming back on the 22nd or 23rd. We want to stay in a hotel that gives off that Christmas feeling with decorations. Any suggestions? Thank You

Hi Sophia! Although most of the Disney resorts will definitely have a holiday feeling there are some that just seem to go the extra with details making them very magical in December.

If you wish to be near the Magic Kingdom I suggest you book the Grand Floridian. Here in their lobby you will find a life size gingerbread house.  Just walking into the resort will give you a feeling of cheer as you smell the fresh gingerbread they have for sale. The decor is amazing here in this resort and of course it is close to the Magic Kingdom which is decked out the most of all the parks.

If you wish to be near the Epcot of Hollywood Studios parks then I suggest the Yacht and Beach Club resorts for a holiday touch. The Beach Club is home to a life size chocolate carrousel in their lobby and the Yacht Club has a wonderful toy train set up to watch. Both resorts will have occasional carolers and even surprise character guests during the holidays. A great picture backdrop is the giant Christmas tree in the lobby of the Yacht Club.

The deluxe resorts are definitely more decked out then their moderate and value counterparts but all Disney resorts will offer special holiday cheer so it is basically up to your budget as to which you book!
