Hi, Julie! It's great to see you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I was so excited this week when the
plans for reopening Walt Disney World Resort were announced.
For the first time in forever (at least it seems that long), Guests will be able to once again visit The Most Magical Place on Earth! "Tell the guards to open up the gate!" While information regarding the reopening process is still rolling out, I would be happy to share with you what I already know about
purchasing theme park tickets.
We know that when the Walt Disney World theme parks reopen, due to capacity restrictions, Guests will need to make a theme park reservation to gain admission. All existing ticket holders and Annual Passholders will be able to access the theme park reservation system before new tickets are sold. Guests without valid theme park admission will be able to purchase new tickets and make park reservations at a later date, subject to availability.
I know it's difficult to
let it go when you're eager to plan your vacation. While you cannot purchase your tickets right now, eventually ticket sales will reopen. To find out when you will be able to purchase tickets, keep checking the
Walt Disney World website and be sure to follow the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest news and announcements.
As we all travel
into the unknown together during Walt Disney World Resort's reopening, feel free to bring any additional questions that you might have to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're here to help!
Warm hugs!
Samantha
