Good morning! We have an 8:05 Crystal Palace reservation at the end of February. I wanted to see if y'all had any information on entry time with the new welcome show procedure. Thank you,

Hi Pamela! Starting in January of this year Disney started a New morning entrance procedure into the Magic Kingdom Theme Park. This has caused many questions about the early morning dining reservations that guests have made. Many of these had hopes to get in early for the iconic castle picture without hundreds of other people around.

Right now Disney is allowing guests to enter about 30-45 minutes before park opening time. They are only allowed to roam the shops and bakery on Main Street during this time. All other park access areas are roped off by cast members. The opening show will now take place on the castle stage and will be done at the designated park opening time.

Since you have an early reservation for Crystal Palace you likely will still be in before the rest of the crowds are allowed. Be sure you arrive early enough so you can stop and get that photo before heading to the restaurant. Check-in for early dining is to the far left where cast members will check you in and point the way for your entry procedure.

It certainly seems that the early early birds will get their best chance for the photos now in the Magic Kingdom. This is all new so we don't know if things will change once the railroad is back from refurbishment or not.
