Good morning from Canada! We are leaving in 29 days and would like to modify our reservation by adding two days before. Can I do that through My Disney experience even though our trip has already been paid? Thank you! Have a magical day!

    Hi there, Melanie!

A warm welcome back to planDisney. We're so glad you've returned with another great Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! I'm thrilled to hear the countdown to your next visit is almost over - there's no place like the Walt Disney World Resort for the holidays. Now, before you start packing your bags, let's discuss how to add on a couple more magical nights to your existing Disney Resort hotel reservation!

Melanie, many Resort hotel reservations can be conveniently modified on the Walt Disney World Resort website. To check whether this change can be completed online, navigate to the homepage and select the "My Disney Experience" tab. Scroll down to locate the reservation you're hoping to modify. If there's a button allowing you to "Change Reservation," follow the steps to change your reservation dates and pay the difference in cost. If your reservation is not eligible for online modifications, simply reach out to the friendly Cast Members at the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line for assistance!

Another option would be to add on an entirely new Resort hotel reservation. My family does this often, slitting our vacation between two or more Disney Resort hotel stays (AKA a "split stay"). This option would enable you to experience two different resort experiences, meaning more variety in dining, shopping, and transportation offerings for you! When we enjoy a split stay, we aim for two totally different Resort hotel experiences. For example, most recently, we stayed a few nights at one of the resorts in the Magic Kingdom Park area, and then a few more nights at a resort within walking distance of Disney Springs!

Melanie, I hope these suggestions aid you in adding additional nights to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I'm wishing you a visit filled with pixie dust and special holiday fun! You're always welcome to return to planDisney with any additional planning questions you might have - we're here to help you make happy holiday memories. Have a most magical stay!

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
