Hi, Craig!
Let's start with the basics....All the Moderate Resort rooms will be similar. Each will have 2 queen size beds, a sink area with either a curtain or sliding doors, and each room is about 314 square feet. All are sprawling resorts with about 2,000 rooms, so be ready to do a bit of walking at whichever you choose.
So it all comes down to theme! Go for
Coronado Springs if you want a southwestern flare with a very clean, crisp look to the rooms. Since this is a convention resort, you will find a few extra amenities like a spa, guest suites, and the restaurants and bars are a bit more upscale.
Caribbean Beach has that sand-in-your-toes feel with its tropical theme. The main pool area is a lot of fun with its pirate ship theme and fun kids splash zone.
Port Orleans Riverside is your Louisiana themed resort. From stately mansion style buildings to backwoods Alligator Bayou, this resort has a bit of everything. Kid like 'Ol Man Island with a fun pool area and water slide. I enjoy Riverside's proximity by boat to Disney Springs. That is a real bonus of this resort.
Which resort to choose is the big question...It's truly up to you. All are amazing resorts. My personal favorite of the three options is Riverside. I like its location with being only a quick bus ride to the Magic Kingdom or Epcot. I also enjoy the stroll to sister resort French Quarter along the Sassagoula River. Do a bit of research at DisneyWorld.com
to see what will work best for your family. Good luck deciding!
