Good Morning! We are arriving on December 6th, with several family members and friends. December 6th is our 35th Wedding Anniversary. I would love to do something special for husband. Nothing too elaborate. I am the Disney Nerd and Fanatic i

    Welcome to planDisney, Rebecca!

Oh, my, what a special anniversary celebration you have planned: a visit to Walt Disney World with family and friends! (My husband and I are just five years behind you: congratulations on this special event!)

One of my favorite features of celebrating a special occasion at The Most Magical Place on Earth is dreaming up lots of little--and some not so little--surprises throughout our stay. First, you'll be thrilled that Disney Floral & Gifts has returned to sprinkle pixie dust on Guests' vacations through the delivery of a customizable package to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel room or a good neighbor resort. Imagine entering your home away from home on your special day and seeing Celebrate a Magical Romance or the Welcome to the Wonderful World of Disney assortment waiting for you. You can even contact a Dream Maker to create a combination that's practically perfect in every way.

Next, consider booking an Advanced Dining Reservation for an extra-special dinner with your Prince Charming, family members, and friends. Settle in on that first night, then, on the next day, consider a Parisian-themed celebration at EPCOT's Chefs de France, a waterside Mediterranean meal at EPCOT's Spice Road Table, a delicious steakhouse experience at Disney Springs' STK Orlando, or a seafood spectacular at Disney Springs' Paddlefish--all of these have evening reservations available at the time of this writing...and all of these offer options that have become some of my absolute favorites!

Dining is also available at Old Key West's fantastic Olivia's Cafe, EPCOT's Biergarten Restaurant, or The Wave...of American Flavors at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and all three you can also order an adorably delicious Mickey Mouse Celebration specialty cake in honor of your 35 years of magical memories together.

At Disney Spring's Amorette's Patisserie, you can celebrate your own "little love" by pre-ordering a specialty cake that is as delicious and unique as it is gorgeous. Include a visit to this lovely location and pick up your customized surprise, possibly pairing it with a champagne toast--also available there at the shop.

Wishing you the most magical anniversary celebration, Rebecca--may it surpass your wildest dreams! As you plan this very special stay, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
