What are good longhouse requests at the Polynesian - for Garden View and for Lagoon View? Staying 7 nights with 3 kids under 6. I prefer not being right off of the volcano pool and I'm not concerned about walking. Can I request a ground floor?

Aloha Carla! I absolutely love Disney's Polynesian Resort....especially after having the opportunity to stay there last summer. For me, it truly is a relaxing oasis in the midst of all that Disney theme park excitement.

A wonderful unofficial resource for all-things "Poly" is www.tikimanpages.com and then, search for longhouses. There, you will find details on longhouse locations, room views and floor plans.

To ask for a room on the ground floor, simply complete online check-in up to ten days prior to your arrival date and select "ground floor room" under special requests . While Disney cannot guarantee that your preference will be met, they will certainly do their best to make stay magical.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! May your tropical Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
