Is it a good idea to stay at Beach Club resort with 1 & 3 yrs old, or shall we pick MK resorts (WL or CR)? Love BC's feel and proximity to Epcot & HS, but heard mixed reviews regarding bus travel time to MK from BC. Is bus ride too much work for s

    Hi Jenny!

I just got back from the Beach Club a couple of weeks ago and fell in love!  We were able to walk to Epcot in under five minutes and the boat to Hollywood Studios was pretty quick as well.  The bus to the Magic Kingdom takes about 17 minutes, but it flies by.  You will need to fold up your strollers when you board the bus and there is always the possibility that you may have to stand.  However, this is the case with all buses.  If you plan on spending the majority of your time in the Magic Kingdom, you may want to seriously consider staying at one of the monorail resorts.  The monorail stops at the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary Resort and the Polynesian Resort.  Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them!

If you do decide to try out the Beach Club, you children will adore Stormalong Bay!  We ended up spending two full days relaxing in the sand and splashing around at the pool.  Have a wonderful vacation!
