Hi good My family and I will be at Disney world in April ,what is the disneys policy concerning disability. In regards to lines and wait time

    Hi Ramdath,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Walt Disney World Resort is a wonderful place to visit for guests of all abilities. I am happy to share some resources with you.

First, I suggest that you review the Services for Guests With Disabilities. During our last visit, my family used the Disability Access Service. This service operates much like Fast Pass+ in that it will allow you to secure ride times for rides and attractions. When you arrive at a park, you will need to register with Disability Services at Guest Services. The Disability Access service will be assigned to the person with the disability. Up to five additional people are allowed to ride with the person who has the disability access service. Be sure to check this information with Guest Services when you arrive as policies can change.

To use the Disability Access Service, you will need to approach a Cast Member at a ride or attraction, explain that you have Disability Access Service, and request a return time for the ride. You can use your Disability Access Service in addition to your Fast Pass+ reservations.

When my family used the service, we could not use it for every ride we wanted to experience, but we could use it for the vast majority of them. It was an excellent service that allowed my husband to enjoy the rides with us without having to stand in long lines.

Remember to make Advanced Dining Reservations so that you avoid long lines for restaurants!

    I hope this helps!
