Hi there, Hayley! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question. I am more than happy to help. As a Florida resident, I can tell you that it does get quite hot here, so I love that you're already preparing for those toasty days. But, hey, it's the perfect excuse for eating endless
Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars!
On the first day of your visit, visit a
Guest Services location, which you can find near each
Walt Disney World Resort theme park's entrance. There, you can speak to a Cast Member to determine your Disability Access Service (DAS) eligibility and get set up for your first Lightning Lane return time.
At the moment, residents of Great Britain are not able to register online for DAS before their visits. However, Hayley, your most magical holiday is more than a year away. I highly recommend revisiting us here at planDisney as you get closer to your arrival date for any updates.
If you will qualify for DAS, benefits are for the entirety of your stay (plus up to five party members). When you register in person, the Cast Member will set up your first Lightning Lane selection for you. Then, you'll be able to select your own using the
My Disney Experience app's DAS Return Time Self-Selection Tool or simply ask a Guest Experience Team Cast Member at the blue umbrellas around each theme park to make your next selection.
I also recommend that you check out the
Disney Genie+ Service and Individual Lightning Lane paid options. These allow you to bypass the regular standby queue for several attractions. My family loves using the Lightning Lanes, especially when I know we have an impending restroom break.
AN EXTRA GEM: There is a neat feature on the My Disney Experience app where you can filter the map for the restroom locations around property. That way, you can easily create a game plan that suits your day's itinerary.
If you have any further questions as you count down the days to the Most Magical Place on Earth,
please don't hesitate to visit us here at planDisney, Hayley.
Magic always,
LeAndra
