Good evening, I see that coming up in September there is an Eat to the Beat featuring The Wanted. Is this the same Wanted that was the British boy band from the 2000s? One of the members died two years ago and I’m trying to see if this is a reunion.

    Hi there, Paul!

Welcome to planDisney. I'm Glad You Came!

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival remains wildly popular with Guests year after year with the Eat to the Beat Concert Series serving as a significant contributing factor for its popularity with the more mature Mouseketeers as it allows us to enjoy beloved bands and musicians from our glory days. I have some dear friends who NEVER pass up the chance to see Hanson perform, but personally, I'm so glad you asked about The Wanted because I was actually living in England as Battleground was climbing the charts.

I did a bit of digging, and it seems that two members of The Wanted recently reunited for a tour across India. Although, there is no way to know if any other members will be joining them on September 22 and 23 in EPCOT, judging from the articles I read, I feel that it is safe to assume there will be at least two members of the original band together once again! If this is something that appeals to you, I highly recommend that you consider purchasing an Eat to the Beat Dining Package for the day of the performance you'd like to attend. This will not only secure you a delicious meal at the restaurant of your choosing but guarantees seating for the concert as well. As a Chip 'n' Dale fangirl, I would point you to Garden Grill Restaurant, but my husband adores Coral Reef Restaurant's aquarium backdrop. Honestly, no matter where you choose to dine at EPCOT, you're guaranteed a one-of-a-kind atmosphere as an opening act for an unforgettable performance.

Again, I'm so glad you stopped by with your question, Paul, and I hope the information I provided was helpful. If any other questions arise as you plan, feel free to come visit us again at planDisney. We're always happy to help!
