Hello there Frances, welcome to planDisney!
If I could give teachers the world, I would! I have so many wonderful teachers in my life who have truly changed and shaped lives, teachers deserve all of the credit. The current
offers & discounts for the
Disneyland Resort do not include teachers at this time, but you can check the current offers to see if any may apply to you.
I completely understand that it can be costly for larger families to travel, and one of my biggest tips to save money while visiting Disneyland is to eat breakfast in your room or on your walk to the theme parks. We like to keep easy breakfast items such as cereal, granola bars, and bananas in our hotel room, and my kids can enjoy them as we head to the parks in the morning without having to purchase a breakfast at the parks.
You also can bring in your own food and non-alcoholic beverages to both theme parks, with a few
restrictions including glass containers and loose or dry ice. I have packed peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for my kids to eat for lunch, and we like to purchase bigger bags of dry snacks and portion them out into plastic bags that we can snack on throughout the day. We find that food can be our biggest expense, and if we can bring extra snacks and bottled water, it truly does help save money!
I hope this information is helpful for your upcoming trip Frances, and that we will see you at the "Happiest Place on Earth" soon! If you think of any other questions, please
come back and ask!
Have a magical day!
Melissa
