Good evening, My wife and I are heading to the Magic Kingdom for two park days in April with our almost 3 year old son for his first trip. For the 2 park days we need some tips on good places to eat with him in the park. Thank you

    Hi Jeremy,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. How fun to be taking your son to Walt Disney World for the first time, and to be spending two days at Magic Kingdom. Let me share a few of my favorite places to eat at this theme park with you.

My family's favorite table service restaurant at Magic Kingdom, and I think a hidden gem, is The Plaza Restaurant. This restaurant serves simple and delicious fare, such as sandwiches and salads, in a quaint and relaxing setting. My favorite here is the Plaza Club sandwich - it is huge and tasty! Another possibility, if your son likes Winnie the Pooh, is to go to a character meal at The Crystal Palace. This buffet features visits by Winnie the Pooh and his friends. Please do note that character appearances are subject to change. If you are considering eating at either of these locations, I suggest that you make a reservation as soon as possible at the Disney Dining website.

If you are looking for a quicker bite to eat, consider Columbia Harbour House. This quick service restaurant offers many healthy options, including the lighthouse sandwich with hummus and vegetables on multi-grain bread. My favorite place to eat at Columbia Harbour House is upstairs. There is seating on the second floor that many people do not know about, which makes it a quiet place to eat. Quick service restaurants do not require a reservation.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Jeremy! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
