Good Evening. Is it true that Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Park has a stand-by line in the evenings?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Lisa!

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is one of the most jaw-dropping attractions I have ever experienced! The sheer size and completely encompassing effects are simply mind-blowing. So there's no doubt that you'll want to ride this during your next visit! Currently, the only way to ride this attraction is by joining the virtual queue.

As long as you have a valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation for Disneyland Park linked to your Disneyland account, you can first try to join the virtual queue at 7:00 a.m. Pacific Time. You do not need to be in the park to join at this time. In fact, you don't even need to be near the parks at all. If you don't get a boarding group during that first drop, you can try again at noon. For the noon release, you will need to have entered Disneyland Park with your one park per day ticket or entered Disney California Adventure Park with your Park Hopper ticket.

The only way to join the virtual queue is by using the Disneyland app. Be sure that you have linked the tickets for everyone in your party to the app before trying to join a virtual queue. By linking everyone's tickets, this will ensure they are added to your party if you are able to get a boarding group.

I hope this helps! Have a great time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
