Hey there, Jamie. Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question.
This is a hard one to answer with specifics, Jamie because I don't know the details on how your travel agent booked your
Walt Disney World vacation. If they booked a vacation package for you, then you would have to cancel it in its entirety. If your travel agent booked you a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room and then separately purchased your tickets, then you would be able to only cancel the room portion. My best advice is to reach out to them directly to see which way they did it and then go from there.
But before you do that, I wanted to chat a little bit about staying at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. I happen to really like staying there and I think you would too. It is located pretty close to all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. In fact, Magic Kingdom Park is 4 miles away, EPCOT is 6 miles away, Disney's Hollywood Studios is the closest at 1 mile away and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is 4 miles away. So it's pretty centrally located and with the
complimentary theme park transportation, you'll be at your destination before Fairy Godmother can wave her wand and say Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!
Another reason I really like Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is all of the
dining options it has to offer. There's everything from upscale dining at Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood, to outdoor dining at Three Bridges Bar & Grill, to casual sit-down restaurants, to bars and lounges and even quick service options. There's something for everyone. A few weeks ago I has appetizers and drinks at Rix Sports Bar & Grill and it was absolutely delicious. We didn't have reservations but walked right in and grabbed a seat at the bar. I was thoroughly impressed with the atmosphere and food offerings given this was more of a sports bar feel. It was awesome and I can't wait to go back.
Wherever you choose to stay, Jamie, I know you will have a magical vacation. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
