Good evening! We are splitting our stay between Disney's Saratoga Springs and Disney's Boulder Creek. Does Disney have a service that will transfer our bags between resorts? Is there a fee for this service?

    Hey there, hi there Bonnie!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Summer will be here before you know it, and soon you'll be joining in The World's Most Magical Celebration!

Staying at two different Walt Disney World Resorts is a great idea! You'll get to experience the amenities and theming at multiple resorts, and it will almost seem like two vacations! While you're at Disney's Saratoga Springs you'll be close to Disney Springs, so I hope you'll be able to take advantage of the fantastic shopping and dining there.

I'm not sure if the second half of your trip is at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge or Copper Creek Villas and Cabins, but either way, you are going to love being so close to Magic Kingdom. Wilderness Lodge has two of my family's favorite restaurants as well, Whispering Canyon Cafe and Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. Bell Services will be happy to help you transfer your luggage from Saratoga Springs to your new resort while you head off to have fun in the parks. There isn't a fee for the service; however, you may choose to tip cast members when they deliver your bags. Keep in mind, if you have any perishable food, they will not be able to transfer that for you.

It may take several hours for the transfer, so make sure you bring along anything you think you might need during the day. When we transfer, we always carry our swimsuits with us, just in case we want to take a midday break at our new resort.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
