    Good evening! We are planning on California adventure Wednesday September 5th. I see the park closes at 8 but I also see paint the night listed at 8. Can someone advise me on if the parade will happen on this night? Thank you

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing us your Disneyland Resort question. Paint the Night is a must-do for my family and I’m glad you’re making plans to experience it soon. You’ll be dazzled by countless brilliant lights, upbeat music, and favorite Disney characters after dark in the park! 

    I took a peek at the entertainment schedule, and it does look like Paint the Night is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. the evening you mentioned. Don’t worry--it’s not uncommon for certain parades and shows to be performed just after the official operating hours end for the day in Disney California Adventure Park. 

    There are currently four Paint the Night Dining Packages that offer the convenience of reserved viewing for the parade along with a unique dinner experience. The newest option is a VIP Viewing Package that includes a 5-course dinner with wine pairings at Wine Country Trattoria, dessert and beverages on the balcony of Boudin Bakery, and priority reserved seats for the parade. It would be an unforgettable experience if you want to plan an extra special evening!
