Hi there, Jeff! Thanks for reaching out to planDisney with your question.
Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost here! In about a month, you'll be arriving at the Most Magical Place on Earth in the middle of the grand finale of the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration (ending March 31, 2023)! You will likely want to check out some of the current nighttime spectaculars that will soon be retiring:
Disney Enchantment at
Magic Kingdom Park and
Harmonious in
EPCOT. They will both be leaving the parks at the beginning of April 2023, so you have a special chance to catch them one last time!
As you likely know, at this time,
Theme Park Reservations are required for each member of your travel party for every day you are planning to visit a park. Since only a select number of reservations are available each day, my recommendation is to book your tickets and reservations sooner rather than later. Before you
purchase your tickets, check the
Theme Park Reservations Availability Calendar to ensure that the dates and parks you'd like to visit are still available.
Bonus Tips:
While Theme Park Reservations are required for all Guests entering a theme park, if you have tickets with the
Park Hopper option, you can currently begin to hop to another park at 2 PM EST. You have to make a reservation for your first park and you must scan into your first park before you visit another park. How does this help you? Well, if the park you are wanting to visit does not have availability when you go to purchase tickets, you can book a different park, visit that one in the morning, and then hop to the park you
really wanted to visit as long as it is not at capacity! You can also check the reservations page as you get closer to your dates as availability can change.
Jeff, I hope you enjoy your visit to the parks.
Happiness is the richest thing we will ever own,
Matt
