    Good evening.... I would like to know if there is any they are any refurbishments scheduled from october 2017 to march 2018 We have annual pas and are snowbirds. Last year Blizzard beach was closed and Typhoon lagoon was open and after Christmas the opp

    Hi Ginette!

    As crazy as it sounds we are "fallbirds" and then head back north for the holiday and winter!

    This year the Disney water parks will follow the same schedule with Blizzard Beach closing in the fall months for refurbishment and Typhoon Lagoon closing in January when they bring Blizzard Beach back up and running. During the cooler months it is obviously the best time to work on those parks and they don't want to close them both down at the same time.

    Other refurbishments come and go in the parks as needed. They will often put opening dates down but if things get done sooner they will open sooner. To check on the different parks and the current schedule and possible future schedule go to your My Disney Experience Account and click on Park Hours. Choose a date and it will show the park hours. Scroll down and it will then list the refurbishments taking place in the parks.

    This will give you at least an idea of what is going to be done but certainly it is not set in stone. Other attractions might have to go down for maintenance at unscheduled times while others will be postponed. Fortunately, there are so many things to see and do while you are there that one can never get bored!
