Good Evening! I'm trying to Plan a visit to Magic Kingdom on thanksgiving day. Do you know If there Will be Happily ever After fireworks in the evening?

Welcome to planDisney, Andrea! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. You're going to be visiting Walt Disney World during one of the most exciting times of the year, and I'm happy to give you more information about what you can expect on your Thanksgiving Day visit to Magic Kingdom.

Great news for your holiday plans! Since Thanksgiving Day does not have a scheduled Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you can expect a regularly scheduled showing of Happily Ever After that evening. On party nights, Magic Kingdom closes early to day guests and the nighttime entertainment changes, but because Thanksgiving is not a party night, the standard fireworks lineup should be on the agenda.

That said, the entertainment calendar isn't published that far in advance yet, so exact showtimes haven't been released. I recommend checking the schedule on the Walt Disney World website as your date gets closer, since times are posted and occasionally adjusted as operating hours firm up. If you're in charge of the planning for your group, peek at the schedule a few times in the weeks leading up to your trip, and again on the day of, just in case there are any last-minute adjustments.

A few friendly tips for a smooth (and magical!) Thanksgiving evening: arrive at your chosen viewing spot a bit early. Thanksgiving week is popular, and Main Street, U.S.A., fills quickly. If you love the castle projections, aim for the middle stretch of Main Street for the best blend of projections and fireworks. If you prefer a little elbow room, try the end of Main Street near the train station, where you'll see projections, or consider the bridge to Tomorrowland for a side angle with less crowd pressure.

I hope this answers your question, Andrea, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
