Good evening, I’ll have a “me-time” for a day while the family is out at a park. Me? I want to try a brunch at Boma. Not sure when, but, that said… do I have to make a reservation or can I just go and be served?

It's good to see you again Susan! Welcome back to planDisney!

If there's one thing I can appreciate in this life, it's "me-time." Whether it's a spa day set up for myself or 10 minutes of time in my car before I go into the house, I'm going to take some time for Taylor. I'm so glad you're getting a bit of time for yourself! And brunch doesn't require a reason. The whole point of it is to enjoy!

Boma - Flavors of Africa is a great spot to take fill your belly and have a good time. While it doesn't specifically offer brunch, going during the breakfast hours will have to do. I would definitely recommend making yourself an Advanced Dining Reservation to avoid missing out. Since you'll be a part of 1 the likelihood of booking that meal is a lot higher than with a bigger party. If for some reason you can't get that reservation set up, you could also try to join the walk-up list via the My Disney Experience app. Just search for the restaurant and tap the Join Walk-Up List when you're near the restaurant.

Susan, you enjoy that time on your own. You deserve it. Have a Jungle Mimosa for those of us who can't be there and raise a glass in the name of peace and quiet! Come on back if you have any other questions.

    Happy planning!
