Good evening, I am a DVC member and my digital membership card indicates DVC Y, while my husbands digital membership card indicates DVC ND why is that? Shouldn’t we both be eligible??

Hey there, hi there, Latisha! Welcome back to planDisney and Welcome Home! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with another great Disney Vacation Club question! I love chatting with a fellow Member!

Don't you just love being a DVC Member?! I know I sure do! Knowing that my family's next magical adventure is always just around the riverbend is priceless and truly brings joy and excitement to my everyday life. Our DVC Membership has been our key to countless magical memories, and our new digital DVC Membership Cards are the keys to accessing the incredible Member-exclusive benefits, perks and discounts on our pixie-dusted vacations. Now, let's chat about your hubby accessing his Membership magic!

If you and your husband are both DVC Members on the same Membership, his Membership status should be the same as yours on his digital Membership Card, and he should be eligible for the same perks and discounts as you. When I first downloaded my new digital DVC Membership Card, I was also one of the Members whose Membership status was incorrectly listed as "DVC ND." This was a known problem that, as far as I know, has since been resolved by DVC, so, first, I suggest that your husband delete his current Membership Card from his digital wallet by tapping his Membership Card, tapping the three dots at the top and tapping "Remove This Card." Then, have him follow the steps to re-download the Card from the Disney MagicMobile section of the My Disney Experience app once again. Then, go back to his smartphone's digital wallet, tap his DVC Membership Card and check his current status under Affiliation.

If your husband's status is still listed as "DVC ND" and not "DVC Y," I suggest that you call Member Services or use the chat feature on the DVC website to let a helpful Cast Member know that he is still having trouble accessing his benefits. They will likely be able to place a request to tech support to fix the problem as soon as possible. I'll be wishing upon a star that your husband sees his "DVC Y" very soon!

I hope this was helpful, Latisha, and I am wishing you and your husband all the Membership magic in the world! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning or DVC questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
