Bonjour Louise and welcome to planDisney!
We have a lot in common, you and I, as my family are currently counting down the days to a late November trip to Disneyland Paris where we will also be staying at
Sequoia Lodge.
It's my absolute favourite Disney Hotel to stay at during the winter months. Themed on the American National Parks, it provides such a warm and cosy atmosphere within a beautiful forest surrounding. Plus, there's nothing like sitting down and having a drink in front of the magnificent open fireplace at the Redwood Bar and Lounge when returning from a chilly day at the Disney Parks.
Going back to your question, Louise, booking the
Reserved Viewing Area for the nighttime show has become extremely popular of late with many Guests wanting to secure a prime spot to watch the simply amazing
Disney Tales of Magic from. There is a bit of confusion around how to book this
Magical Extra, mainly due to the fact that there are a few different scenarios, depending on how you made your original booking. Let's see if I can break this down for you.
If you booked a
Hotel + Ticket Package directly with Disneyland Paris, have linked your booking in the Disneyland Paris App and paid in full, you can add reserved viewing as follows:-
1/ Open the
Disneyland Paris App.
2/ Click on "Buy" at the bottom of the home page.
3/ Click on "Shows and parades: Preferred access".
4/ Click "Select" on the "Parade and nighttime show: Reserved viewing area" option.
5/ Click "Select" on the "Reserved viewing area: Nighttime show" option.
If you booked your Hotel + Ticket Package through a Travel Agency then it is only possible to reserve viewing areas via the Disneyland Paris App, once you have linked your booking, 1 week before your arrival date.
Should you encounter any difficulties when making your purchase, I would recommend contacting a Disney Agent via the Live Chat function which can be accessed by clicking on "Ask your question" in the blue box that says "Need help?" which pops up while you are browsing the Disneyland Paris App.
Top Tip - Disney Agents are available Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 7.30pm and on Saturdays from 9.30am to 6pm (French time).
I hope that this has cleared things up, Louise and that you have a brilliant time at Disneyland Paris this December. If you ask me,
Disney Enchanted Christmas is without doubt the BEST way to get into the Christmas sprit.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
