Hi Kirk,
Welcome to planDisney! I am excited to hEAR that you are exploring all of the benefits of using My Disney Experience as you plan a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. While there is not necessarily a Guide, there are lots of informative tools online to help you navigate My Disney Experience.
Explore this information on
My Disney Experience and review the additional information on setting up your
Family & Friends List. There are a number of features that I appreciate in My Disney Experience and the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Be sure to read over the
Disney Park Pass system,
Disney MagicMobile Service,
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering,
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability, and
Disney PhotoPass service. We use all of these features in My Disney Experience and the My Disney Experience Mobile App.
Once you review all of the info, take some time to practice using the features. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and have not linked your vacation package yet, let's start there. Log into My Disney Experience, click on My Plans, scroll down and look on the right-hand side for a link that says Add More Plans. Then click on
Link Reservations and Purchases. Once you have your vacation package linked, you can make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. Looking at your arrival date, it looks as if you are already within your
advanced dining reservation window. If you have not done so already, make dining reservations for the dates of your visit.
If you are using the My Disney Experience Mobile App, just remember to click on the three bars on the bottom right-hand side of the screen to see several important links that will help you plan. You can also click on the plus sign at the bottom on the home screen to add dining reservations and other plans.
Kirk, once you start using My Disney Experience, I trust you will quickly learn to navigate the features! It really has made our vacation planning so much easier, especially as we try to modify plans while in the parks!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
