Hi there, Nicola! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney. It is always a treat to chat with our pals from across the pond, and I'm so excited that your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner! I certainly don't want you to be late for your very important date with the grid, so let's get to it.
TRON Lightcycle / Run is one of my favorite attractions! It is especially amazing at night, and you'll feel like you're truly in the grid. Way to go snagging
Lightning Lanes for this can't-miss ride! The cycles require Guests to position themselves in a sort of kneeling position, so I understand that this may not be ideal for you just a few months post-surgery.
However, Nicola, I'm happy to report that the ride has another seating option besides the cycles that may work for you! TRON has rear-row seating (on some trains) with a standard bench seat that lets you sit upright and use a lap bar. I recommend checking with a Cast Member at the attraction to make sure you are comfortable with this alternative, but I can tell you that my friends who have used the seated car love the experience!
Lightning Lanes are non-refundable, but if your medical issues prevent you from enjoying the attraction, speak with Guest Services in the park - they are typically standing under a blue umbrella that makes them easy to spot.
Nicola, I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes and that you can enjoy TRON and all of your other favorite attractions at The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any other last-minute questions, please don't hesitate to come see us again at planDisney. We'll be happy to do whatever we can to add a little extra pixie dust to your travels.
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
