Good day, I am trying to book a reservation to the Hollywood and Vine to get the VIP seats for the show after. I have the deluxe meal package so why everytime I want to book a restaurant they ask for a credit card? Is there other fees? thank you

Welcome Anie, thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Even though you will be using a Disney Dining Plan, a credit card guarantee will be required when making Advance Dining Reservations. You card will only be charged if you don’t show up for your reservation or don’t cancel your reservation accordingly to the restaurant’s cancellation policy.
However, there are a few dining experiences that require guests to pre pay for their meal when making the reservation. Cinderella's Royal Table is an example of this situation. Your credit card will be charged in advance, but when you arrive at the restaurant, you can use your Disney Dining Plan entitlements and get a refund. It is very simple, just inform the cast member you will be using your Disney Dining Plan entitlements for that meal and your credit card will be refunded.
Hope this helps your planning. Please, let us know if you have additional questions.
    Have a magical day!
