Hi Susan,
Thank you for sailing over to planDisney with your question! I am happy to help you to find information about the currently health and safety requirements for sailing with
Disney Cruise Line.
Health and safety requirements may vary and be updated over time, so please do check the sites that I am linking frequently as you approach your sail date. I have cruised over the past couple of years, and Disney Cruise Line has been diligent about sending an e-mail when updates to the policy are made that will impact a sailing on which you are booked.
For
sailings departing from the United States and Puerto Rico, there are no longer testing and vaccine requirements for COVID-19; however, Disney Cruise Line does highly recommend that guests be vaccinated for COVID-19, and that those who are not should test two days prior to sailing. For
Canada sailings, Disney Cruise Line points guests to the Government of Canada's website for the most up-to-date information, which is available as a link from the page for Canada sailings.
Having cruised a couple of times since the advent of COVID-19, I have to say that I have always been impressed with the communication, efficiency, and depth of Disney Cruise Line's COVID-19 protocols. I have had to follow different protocols on each sailing as Disney Cruise Line has kept up with the changing public health and safety needs and guidelines. I always felt that I knew what I had to do in order to go on my next magical sailing!
If you have further questions regarding this topic, I suggest that you
reach out to Disney Cruise Line via phone call. I have found that I always get great answers to my specific questions when I call Disney Cruise Line.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Susan! Feel free to sail on back to planDisney if you have any further questions while planning your cruise.
