Good day, my daughter is coming to Disney with her band in April so I will not be purchasing her tickets myself. Is there at way for me to get her the memory maker anyway? Kindly advise

Welcome to planDisney, Suzanne! It's music to my ears that your young musician will have an opportunity to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth with her band; I know she's going to make the most magical memories (and music) with her group!

Suzanne, I'm a big fan of purchasing Memory Maker to capture the memories of a Walt Disney World vacation, and as a mom, I love having photos of all the big moments in my kids' lives, so I'm happy to offer you some options to purchase Memory Maker for your daughter in advance of her visit!

If your daughter is over 13 years old, she can manage her own My Disney Experience account if she doesn't already! If you previously managed an account for her, you can even transfer all existing plans and MagicBands that may be linked to her managed account from yours. To do this, find her managed profile under your Family & Friends List on your My Disney Experience mobile app and select Send Email to send an invitation to the email associated with her new personal account. Once she accepts, it will transfer ownership to her! Once this is done, you can purchase the Memory Maker on her account to ensure it's linked and ready to capture the magic upon her arrival. To activate the product, she will just tap on the option to activate her photos in her Photo Gallery in her My Disney Experience account once she is at the Walt Disney World Resort. Because your daughter will be traveling with friends, I would also encourage her to connect to their My Disney Experience accounts as Family & Friends so that any photos they take will also populate in her gallery for sharing and downloading. One of the best things about Memory Maker is that it can be shared with up to 25 people in your travel party, so for group travel, it's a great way to make sure everyone has a chance to be in the picture!

If your daughter is not able to create her own account, but is on an account that is managed by your profile, you can still purchase the Memory Maker on your account to be able to download any photos she takes while on her trip as long as she is on your Family and Friends List. For this option, be sure that you have selected to share all plans with her and that you select Include Family and Friends when you go to your online Photo Gallery.

Bonus Tip: encourage your daughter to ask the PhotoPass photographers if they have any Magic Shots that they can add to her photos! This is a fun way the photographers can sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your memories!

I hope this helps, Suzanne! If you have any other planning questions, come back over to planDisney and let us know!
