Hi Terri. Thank you so much for bringing your question to us here at planDisney!
As you likely know,
Theme Park Reservations are a very important step in planning your
Walt Disney World Resort visit. In fact, it is highly recommended that you check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before you purchase your tickets. Once you've confirmed that your desired parks are available, go ahead and purchase your
theme park admission. Then, you're all set to make all of your other plans!
If you purchased your tickets from the Walt Disney World Resort website, they are likely already linked to your
My Disney Experience account. To check, log in to your account on a computer, select "My Plans," and scroll down until you see "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker." This is where you'd see your tickets. If they are listed there, they are connected to your account, and you are good to make your Theme Park Reservations.
If you purchased your package through a third party, it can sometimes take up to 72 hours to display in your account and sometimes you must link your reservation yourself. To do so, simply visit the
reservation linking page once you have the necessary information.
Terri, I see that you are visiting the resort during the holiday season. As such, it's very important that you book not only your Theme Park Reservations as soon as possible, but also your dining and any extra events as soon as possible. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can book your
advanced dining reservations and most
Enchanting Extras 60 days in advance of your arrival date for your entire vacation (up to 10 days).
There's so much to see and do during the holidays at the resort! My favorite is simply visiting the different resorts and seeing their holiday decor, especially
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Please just make sure you are using
Resort Transportation to get to these resorts or you are securing an advanced dining reservation for a restaurant at the resort you want to visit. Only Guests staying at these resorts or Guests with a dining reservation will be allowed to park there. Also, be sure to visit the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. While dates have not yet been announced for this festive event for this year, last year's event went through December 30, 2022. There are usually delicious offerings at the
Holiday Kitchens, fun Holiday Storytellers throughout World Showcase, and the classic and very moving
Candlelight Processional. Follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements about this year's festival!
The spirit of the season never has to end as long as you keep your loved ones near and the holiday wish in your heart,
Matt
