Hi there Joseph,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! It's so great to hear that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort in sunny California - you are going to have such a fun time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
When it comes to booking a trip to the Disneyland Resort for International Guests, it can really depend on local rules and regulations. I've heard from some International Guests that they're unable to access certain features of the Disneyland Resort website due to some of the local regulations and therefore need to book their travel through a local travel agent.
However, I typically recommend booking a
vacation package directly through the Disneyland Resort website. These packages offer quite a bit of convenience since they will include your theme park tickets, hotel stay, and can also include ground transportation and travel insurance if your plans end up changing. This removes quite a bit of the stress of having to manage multiple components of your trip since you can do it all in one place!
When visiting one of the parks of the Disneyland Resort, you need both theme park tickets and theme park reservations for each day you plan to visit. My favorite place to make or manage the different reservations for upcoming trips is the
My Plans hub on the Disneyland Resort website.
Additionally, I always like to point out the
Disney Parks Blog as the best place to read up on all that is happening around the Disneyland Resort. This will help you get prepared for your visit by showcasing all the fun extras happening around the Happiest Place on Earth during your visit.
Thank you again for your question, Joseph! Please come back and see us here at planDisney if you think of any follow ups.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
