Good day ~ Animal Kingdom question - Is there a safari tour that accommodates a 17 month old toddler? Thank you, Karen.

    Hi Karen,

Thanks so much for your question. My daughter loved Animal Kingdom when she was a toddler and still does today as a teenager. There's something for everyone, from babies to grandparents.

Kilimanjaro Safaris has no height restriction, so your toddler will be able to ride and can sit on your lap for a better view. It is recommended that small children be kept in the center of the safari vehicle for safety as you all gaze across the savannah at the giraffes, zebras, elephants, antelope and more.

At that age, my daughter also couldn't get enough of the Affection Station at Rafiki's Planet Watch. And The Boneyard dig site is a cool place for little ones to play and stretch their legs.

Your toddler will be able to join you on any ride and attraction that has no height restriction. You will find a list of all those, plus tips on a Walt Disney World vacation with young children, in the guide for visiting with little ones and preschoolers

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your visit, Karen. Enjoy!
