Where can I get a good cup of coffee in WDW (ie: the parks or resorts)? I remember from our last visit, Nescafe coffee seemed to be the norm, but for us northerners who are addicted to Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks, its quite a difference! :) Any suggestions?

    Hi Heather!

I can totally relate to this question! As a Canadian who's addicted to Tim Horton's (similar to your Dunkin) as well as having a love for 'real' lattes and cappuccinos, I've been on a relentless search for good coffee during many Walt Disney World vacations!

There are now quite a few GREAT spots to get a really good cup of coffee or a steamy latte, all around Walt Disney World's parks and resorts. For a full list, consider visiting the AllEarsNet website. It's a non-Disney "Fan" site which keeps quite detailed, up to date information. Simply search for 'Real Coffee around the world' and you'll find their full, detailed listing.

Here are a few of my personal favourites:

On a Magic Kingdom day, a short jaunt on the monorail is well worth the time to get a real coffee at one of two resort locations. In the lower level lobby of the Contemporary Resort, Contemporary Grounds has some fantastic coffee and espresso options. My personal, hands-down, all-time favourite, has to be Kona Island Coffee Bar on the upper level of the Polynesian Resort's lobby.

At Hollywood Studios, the best coffee in the park can be found at Writer's Stop.

Animal Kingdom's coffee cart, on your right hand side just after you pass through the Oasis area and then over the bridge, has superb coffee, espresso, cappuccino and the like.

Can you guess where I'm going to send you at Epcot? Over to the Canada pavilion of course! The coffee cart there has great coffee! You'll find multiple coffee carts with the same variety also in Italy, France and Morocco and even the American Adventure.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your fantastic question Heather!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
