Where is a good character dinner to take my 9 year old son to eat?

Many would tell you that Chef Mickey's is the way to go, Julie.  While that certainly isn't a bad choice, it wouldn't be my first.  When it comes to character meals, my family absolutely loves to visit Garden Grill.  Located in Epcot, within The Land Pavilion, Garden Grill serves dinner family-style in a restaurant that literally rotates as you dine.  That's right; the dining room actually rotates.  Most nine-year-olds I know would find that super cool.  Not to worry, though; the rotation is very slow.  In our experience, it takes about an hour to complete a full rotation.  But as you dine, you'll be treated to views inside the Living With The Land attraction.  That's not all; many of the food items served at Garden Grill are grown right there in The Land Greenhouse.  As you feast, Farmer Mickey and his pals stop by your table to sign autographs and pose for pictures.  Dinner at  Garden Grill is a great character meal choice.  Enjoy!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
