Hi Karen,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am tickled to hear that you are making dining plans for your 3-year old granddaughter!
Before deciding, be sure to review the
Magic Kingdom restaurant list. My girls' favorite buffet-style restaurant at Magic Kingdom is
The Crystal Palace. They love to visit with Winnie the Pooh and friends while dining and, when they were younger, they loved dancing in the Pooh-rade. One of our favorite family-style restaurants at Magic Kingdom is
Liberty Tree Tavern. Feel free to review the menus by going to the web page for each restaurant and then clicking on "View Menu." Although not in Magic Kingdom, just a few minutes away in Disney's Contemporary Resort is
Chef Mickey's, a buffet-style restaurant. Disney's Contemporary Resort is a quick monorail ride away or you can take the walking path. For us, the walk takes no more than 10 minutes.
Karen, there are a few other buffet or family-style restaurants easily accessible from Magic Kingdom by resort monorail. At Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, we love
'Ohana. Breakfast is a character dining experience. At Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, we have a blast at
1900 Park Fare. Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner is probably our favorite but the character experience at breakfast is also fantastic!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
