Hi, there!
Brittany, I'm so happy to hear you're planning a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort this Fall. And with a
little one in tow! How exciting.
Experiencing the magic of Disney storytelling with a toddler is so much fun. Your heart will just melt as you see their little face light up with joy and wonder! One of my favorite things about the Walt Disney World Resort is that the theme parks offer lots of
family-friendly attractions that are perfect for Guests of all ages. As toddlers, my kids have most enjoyed attractions with gentle, easy tracks like Peter Pan's Flight, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. They also loved boat-ride attractions like "it's a small world," Frozen Ever After, and Na'vi River Journey. To view attractions that are well-suited for your 2-year old, hover over the Things to Do tab on the
Walt Disney World Resort website. Select "Attractions" from the drop-down menu. There you can filter the list of attractions by theme parks! To narrow your search, choose "All Ages" from the Age Interest tab and "Any Height" from the Height tab.
Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and little legs tire easily, so you'll definitely need a stroller for your visit.
Strollers are available to rent from all four theme parks, but I prefer to bring our stroller from home for our Disney vacations.
If you choose to bring your own stroller, just be sure that it's no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length. Did you know there's a conveniently located
Baby Care Center in each of the theme parks? The Baby Care Center is the perfect place to take your little one for some peace and quiet amid an adventure-filled day. When my son was 2-years old, the only thing that frightened him in the theme parks was the changing tables in the public bathrooms. He rode dark attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion with a big smile on his face, but he screamed and cried on those changing tables! Thank goodness for the changing rooms in the Baby Care Centers - he was much happier there.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Brittany. Please let us know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. We'd love to help you plan a magical stay!
