Good Arvo, I am visiting Magic Kingdom on Thursday 31 July 2025, and want to plan the evening component including dinner reservation, but I need to know what time Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away (Debuting July 20)5 will occur that night? Ta Heaps

    Hi there, Robert!

How wonderful that your next adventure in the great wide somewhere holds a visit to Magic Kingdom Park. Thanks for making us at planDisney a part of your planning process!

Like you, I'm anxiously awaiting my first viewing of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away. After all, few things are more magical than Walt Disney World Resort aglow after dark. It's like the theme parks have been sprinkled in pixie dust! While we know that Magic Kingdom's new nighttime parade will debut on July 20, neither a schedule nor the exact timing of the performance has been shared at this time.

I know this is not ideal for those hoping to plan their evening around Disney Starlight, but the emphasis on 'nighttime parade' and use of lights most likely means the parade will not occur before dusk. With this in mind, I suggest booking an earlier dinner reservation (one that will allow you to finish before the sun sets - typically just after 8 PM in July) in hopes of concluding your meal before the parade begins. Once Walt Disney World confirms the schedule, it will be reflected in the Hours & Events Calendar, and you could attempt to modify your dining reservation accordingly if necessary.

In the interim, I encourage you to check out the Disney Starlight updates on the Disney Parks Blog for a sneak peek of the incredible floats and characters we can expect to see shining brightly. It's sure to be magical!

    Thinking Happy Thoughts,
