    What would be a good amount of money to set aside for a family of four? 2 adults 2 kids under 8 years? What to have most saved before we go?!

    It is such a good feeling when you have saved up for your vacation, and you can enjoy the magic without worrying about a huge bill at the end of your trip!

    There are some basics that you just cannot avoid when planning your vacation:  Room, tickets, and food.  Your best bet is to click HERE for Special Offers.  You will often find great deals for your travel dates!  Start the booking process with your dates and resorts choices.  Go through the process a few times until you find a vacation that fits your budget.  Right now, there are discounts on "room only" reservations as well as savings for entire vacation packages.

    Let me give you a very ballpark figure:  I went to special offers and selected a 4 night vacation in late January for 2 adults, 2 kids.  Staying at Pop Century and including the Quick Service Dining Plan and park tickets, the cost was about $1,900.  Add to this spending money for souvenirs and your airfare.  I want to stress that this is just an estimate, you will need to select dates and details that work for you!

    I know you were looking for more specific numbers, but there are so many variables with dates, resorts, and options, you will need to just walk through the process a few times until you have the perfect WDW vacation planned.  You can do this online or feel free to call one of the very helpful Disney reservationist at (407)W-DISNEY.  Good luck!
