What is a good amount of money to load on to the wrist bands?

    Hi, Heather!

MagicBands truly are magical!  One touch and you can open the door to  your resort room, enter a theme park, utilize your FastPass+ selection and more.

With your MagicBand, you can charge back to your room if you put a credit card on file at check-in. MagicBands do NOT hold any financial information (credit cards/gift cards) and you cannot load them with cash funds. You are welcome to charge back to your room with your MagicBand, then if you do not want your credit card charged, stop by the front desk to pay with cash/gift card to pay off or pay down a balance.

Even though I usually just let my credit card be charged for whatever I pay for with my MagicBand, I still stop by the front desk every day or two to get a print out of my current balance. While I have never had a problem with the charges, it lets me know where my spending is at so I do not have any surprises at the end of my vacation!

Now back to your original question, let's change that to "How much will I spend?" Well, everyone is different, but if you pay for meals out of pocket, per person, count on about $10-20 per quick service meal, $20-$45 per buffet/table service meal, $5 per snack, $4 for a bottle of water or soft drink.  Souvenirs vary, but basic T-shirts are around $25-$30.  All these prices list are approximate and subject to change at any time.

I hope you enjoy the convenience of your MagicBand!
