Good Afternoon, Will Moana make any character dining experiences in 2018? If not, will she be available for a meet and greet? We have a trip planned for January 2018. Thanks!!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Kerilyn ~

I love to see that you are planning ahead for your 2018 trip! It is a very exciting time and keeps me a little more calm until it is time to set off on our pixie dusted trail!

Currently, Moana has sailed out on a new adventure in the South Pacific and isn't currently appearing at the Walt Disney World Resort. Having said that, keep in mind that Disney is always keeping us on our toes. I would suggest keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements regarding if and when Moana will return. You never know what exciting thing they will announce next!

There are a couple of Moana themed things right now. Moana Mercantile is located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and has awesome Moana souvenEARs. That whole resort is filled with the spirit of the South Pacific and you feel like you are in Moana's native land. You may enjoy dining at 'Ohana or Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended at these dining experiences.

There is a brief glimpse of Moana in Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom. Make sure you are on the front side of Cinderella Castle to be able to see the projections shown on the castle.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
