Good Afternoon, We are traveling to Disney World in December with our daughter. She will be turning 3 in the middle of our stay. I believe the ticket policy is if you are 2 at the beginning you are considered that age throughout stay. Am I correct? Jeff

Hi there, Jeffrey!  Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear that you'll soon be visiting Walt Disney World Resort with your little princess!  Every Walt Disney World visit is magical, but there's something extra special about viewing the wonder through the eyes of a small child.  As you get ready for your vacation, be sure to check out the planDisney Video Library.  My fellow panelists, Leslie and LeAndra, recently filmed a series of videos about visiting Walt Disney World Resort with little ones.  This video series is full of valuable information for families with young Mouseketeers.

Currently, Walt Disney World Resort requires all Guests ages 3 and up to have a ticket to enter the theme parks.  So once your little one is 3, she should have her own ticket when visiting the theme parks.  Since you will be celebrating your daughter's birthday during your visit, be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button at the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel or any Guest Relations location.  Also, once your little princess turns 3, she is eligible to visit Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a royal transformation.  This would be the perfect way to celebrate your daughter's special day!

If you have any other questions as you get ready for your trip, please visit us again.  I hope that your daughter has the best birthday ever and that your whole family has a magical vacation!
