Good Afternoon, We are staying at the Carribean Beach. We have a breakfast reservation at Chef Mickley at 710am. What's the best way to get to the Contemporary Resort if the buses aren't running that early. Also are taxis easy to find at the resorts

    Hi Steven,

From one early bird to another, I like your planning style! I'm happy to report each Disney Resort hotel will offer early morning Character Breakfast buses to transport you easily and efficiently to the theme parks. On the evening prior to your Advanced Dining Reservation, check in with a Cast Member at the front desk of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to be sure the buses will be running as early as 6:30 a.m. Let them know you will be needing transportation this early as it will typically take about 20 minutes from the Resort Hotel to Magic Kingdom. If for whatever reason they are not running this early, you CAN request a taxi from the Valet stand at the front entrance, and yes, they are readily available.

You'll want to take the bus to Magic Kingdom, and then either transfer to the monorail for your Advanced Dining Reservation at Chef Mickey's or walk the 5-10 minute pathway to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

Because I typically plan an hour for travel time, I'd simply walk from the bus at Magic Kingdom. I think you'll find it's a faster route than heading towards the monorail, and you'll have just under an hour available to you from the 6:30 a.m. bus pick up.

Be sure to have your confirmation number handy as you'll likely be asked to provide it for early morning transportation.

Thank you, Steven, for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and please do so again for other helpful tips as you plan your MAGICAL vacation.
