Good afternoon, We have a small church group with kids, parents, members of church interested in visiting Magic Kingdom in June. Are there any Disney discounts available for church organizations ?

    Welcome to planDisney, ICheryl!

While any visit to Magic Kingdom Park is exciting, there is nothing more fun than experiencing all there is to see and do with a group. How exciting!

Although there are no specific discounts available specifically for church organizations, I always look at Walt Disney World Special Offers to see if there is a great deal around a time I'd like to travel. Another option would be to see if anyone in your group belongs to AAA and have them contact their local office to see if there are any current offers.

In addition, if your group is planning on staying at a Disney Resort hotel, call the super-helpful Walt Disney World Cast Members at the Help Center. If you'll be needing 10 rooms or more, Group Reservations is the way to go. When we travel as a youth group on our senior class trip to Walt Disney World, we are able to secure discounted park tickets, so be sure to ask Group Reservations about that as well.

Another way I love to save is by tapping into a membership program of a retailer that offers discounts. For example, you may have a membership card that offers a percentage discount on all purchases. In some cases, that includes the purchase of Disney Gift Cards. I like to register my Disney Gift Cards on that website and, when needed, transfer the balance from one or two smaller cards onto one larger one. It's such an easy way to save a little more and conveniently carry just one gift card while touring.

Finally, some of your members might want to check out the new Disney Inspire Visa Card. This offers cardholders a $300 Disney Gift Card eGift upon opening, plus benefits such as statement credits and Disney Rewards Dollars. Even better? They offer special vacation financing on select Disney vacation packages, and cardholders enjoy 10% discounts on select dining and shopping locations throughout Walt Disney World.

Honestly, I'm all about finding as many ways to stretch our Walt Disney World vacation dollars a little bit further; I'm sure that all of these options will help your church group, too. As you continue to look at options for your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
