Good afternoon, My sister has MS. We will be visiting WDW this next March 2016. My sister has to walk with a cane everywhere she goes. Her legs get very week from standing a lot. I'm wondering if she can bring in and use a small folding cane chair? Thnk u

    Hi Darci,

I can certainly understand your concern for wanting to make sure your sister is comfortable during your Walt Disney World visit and will have seating readily available for when she becomes tired. Unfortunately, Disney Park rules prohibit "folding chairs" of any kind, so chances are she will not be able to bring that type of cane into the parks.

There are ample places to sit throughout the parks, but I suggest renting a wheelchair or ECV scooter to ensure your sister doesn't wear out too quickly. Both are available to rent from the parks or you can find a list of outside companies which are Disney Featured Providers through this link. Again, I completely understand your concern and please let me know if I can be of any more assistance.

    Magical Wishes,
