Hey there, hi there, Juan! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by with such a great planning question. I love chatting Disney with my pals, pal!
Well, it sounds as if the magic is calling you, Juan, and I'm so excited that you plan on answering the call. The magic called me to become a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder several years ago, and I have not regretted a single magical moment. Nothing beats being able to return to my happy place time and time again, and I'm so excited for you to experience this same joy and magic!
It sounds as if you're already aware that the sales of new
Walt Disney World Annual Passes are currently paused. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries." As a Florida resident, you are still able to purchase the Disney Pixie Dust Pass for a year of fun and magical memories. At this time, if you purchase a Pixie Dust Pass, you won't be able to upgrade to a different Annual Pass until your renewal period, which is up to 60 days before and 30 days after your Pass expiration date. I'm thrilled to welcome you to the Passholder family, Juan!
Since the
Pixie Dust Pass has blockout dates that include the weekends, I suggest adding the Water Park and Sports Option to your Annual Pass. The Water Park and Sports Option does not have any blockout dates, so on the days you're blocked out of the theme parks, you will still be able to have the best Disney day splashing around the water parks, playing golf or miniature golf and more. It's the best way to discover all of the magic outside of the theme parks!
I hope this was helpful, Juan, and I'm wishing you a year of pixie dust! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
